The gardens are lush and lovely to wander through, and the beach was clean and inviting. Though the resort isn’t new, it’s kept clean and well cared for. We stayed in a villa for four nights over a long weekend, and it was a great quiet place to begin our holiday and get used to the time difference. The atmosphere was very peaceful. Most of the other guests we saw were Scandinavian or European families. It feels tucked away, but Phan Thiet is only about a 10-minute drive if you want to visit the city. There are also local restaurants within walking distance, and we thought they were well worth trying. At breakfast, the only coffee was Vietnamese coffee, though tea and fresh juices were available. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout, and we’d recommend staying here.

The peaceful setting was what we enjoyed most, and the large green grounds made it easy to relax. Panorama restaurant had soothing music that made for a memorable atmosphere. We stayed in the three-bedroom villa, N3, with its own pool. The room could use a minor cosmetic repair, but it was cleaned perfectly, and the pool cleaner was very polite. The beach had clean white sand, and the warm, clear sea had big waves that were fun to jump in. A staff member warned us when the seabed changed. We went to Oceania spa every day and tried all the massage types. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and I want to thank the staff and hotel manager for their hospitality. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the pool had loungers and a sea view. We also liked the green grounds, quiet setting, helpful staff, beach access, and decent breakfast. I stayed for one night and two days, and the experience was okay, though by Western standards I’d put it closer to 3+ stars than 4. Getting to the main street and restaurants takes about 7-10 minutes by Grab. The resort feels old and could use updates in the rooms and outdoor areas. Some pool steps were loose and seemed like they could be a safety risk. There were quite a few mosquitoes in the room, so mosquito control would help. The beach is small, with one end cut off and another resort under construction on the other side, so it’s not suited to long morning or evening walks. Construction next door can also be noisy. Our room’s old air conditioner barely responded to the temperature or fan settings. For coffee, don’t expect a proper latte, just regular coffee with milk poured in. Still, if you want somewhere quiet to relax, this hotel is fine.

A broad beach with a safe area for kids makes this a great family getaway. Muine beach is only a short ride away if you rent a motorbike.
