The service and attitude were poor. The air conditioning didn’t work, so my child sweated all night. The power and water went off while we were there. For hours, I had to stay in wet, dirty clothes after swimming in the sea while we waited for them to come back. No one apologized. They just told us to keep swimming, but I was traveling with my child, who couldn’t stay in the water for long. Breakfast was bad, and the housekeeper was rude. My previous stay was bad too. Water leaked into the room all night, so I couldn’t sleep. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the TV was broken, even though I had booked the biggest bungalow.

The staff made us feel so welcome, and the boutique hotel was beautiful and clean. We stayed seven days and could easily have stayed longer. It’s outside central Mui Ne, which suited us perfectly for a relaxing break. They also arranged a motorcycle rental and booked a jeep trip to the dunes for us. One of our best stays in Vietnam.

We really enjoyed our stay and would happily book again in Mui Ne. The people made the difference: everyone was polite, cheerful, and welcoming. Hue and Quang, the day and night front desk managers, were both lovely and professional, and we enjoyed talking with them. The cleaning team and the staff looking after the pool and property were lovely too. We booked a double room for five nights. It was comfortable and a good size, with patio doors opening onto the pool. The bed and pillows were good, and the mattress wasn’t too hard. The shower was spacious with plenty of hot water. We could hear the waves from the room. The only thing we’d fault was the older air conditioner, which wasn’t as cold as we’d have liked, though we were never hot and the room stayed comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection, and the coffee was strong and plentiful. We rented a scooter directly from the hotel for a decent price, and it worked well and was in good condition. There are plenty of places to eat or drink within walking distance. The beachfront is small, but you can swim at low tide. There are places to lounge by the beach and pool, with both sun and shade. The pool is great for swimming and relaxing.

Breakfast was a highlight, with tasty dishes rotating from day to day. The staff were terrific, and I had a really enjoyable stay. It’s easy to walk to good restaurants and shops nearby without needing a bicycle. The room’s air conditioning wasn’t cool enough at first. I called the front desk, they checked it, and they moved me smoothly to another room. I’ll come back.
