Vy's House Phanthiet Hotel

A cozy room in a fairly quiet area, with tea, coffee, and food shops all around. The building is new, only about two years old. You do have to walk :)

The building and rooms are new, the location is great, and the staff are friendly. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to Phan Thiet.

In my four years of traveling around Vietnam, this has been one of the best places I’ve stayed.

The morning noise made it impossible for us to rest. It started around 7 am and kept going, so we ended up paying and checking out early. At reception, I raised our concerns but got only a simple apology and an explanation that electrical system maintenance had to be done during the day. The staff’s lack of communication and understanding left me speechless. There had already been problems in the room. The bathroom curtain wasn’t installed properly and fell on me when I tried to use it. We told the receptionist, who said a technician would be called, so we went out for the day. When we got back, we were told the technician wasn’t available. They had only put the curtain back in place, and it still didn’t feel safe. Nobody apologized. I also found leftover food in the refrigerator when I arrived, which raised hygiene concerns and suggested the room hadn’t been checked carefully. I stayed for one night, and the experience fell well short of what I expected. I hope the hotel reviews its procedures and makes substantial service improvements so other guests don’t run into the same problems.
