The owner was kind and helpful. He speaks Vietnamese only, but Google Translate made that easy enough. He picked me up from the bus and let me check in very early in the morning. You can get bicycles and scooters here, and they also have laundry, food, bus tickets, and tour bookings. It’s clean, quiet, and well located across the street from the river. Many cafes, bars, and restaurants are within walking distance, and the town center is a short bike ride away. It works for solo travelers, couples, friends, or families. If you want to party and be loud in your room, it isn’t the right place.

We arrived to check in at 11pm and got a nasty surprise: the owner didn’t know about our booking, and the homestay was full. Luckily, he understood the situation and found us a room for one night, which was very kind. We would have stayed longer if we could. DO NOT BOOK ON AGODA.

The lovely, helpful host made this the best homestay or hotel we stayed at along the Ho chi minh road. I felt really comfortable here. It was clean, well priced, and right by the river, with nice coffes all around. Hope it stays this way :)

Probably the nicest place I’ve stayed in Vietnam. The owners were very friendly, and since I happened to be the only traveller there, it was nice and quiet. Great spot.
