One of the best. The place is clean, quiet, and well located. It’s set back from the main road, which matters because the local dogs bark at one another through the night there. We stayed at another nearby property and heard them. Traffic also starts around 6.30 am, so places right on the road are noisy.

We left our bags with the hotel while we went caving with Oxalis, and they didn’t even touch them. The staff were great, the food was delicious, and our room was massive. It’s by the river, close to the city center, and they have bikes. Fast WiFi and hot showers made it very good value. Keep an eye out for mosquitoes!

Lily and Moon were lovely, and they really know how to cook. They made us good meals, and the hosts were super friendly and gave us helpful advice on places to visit. Loved staying here, highly recommend!

Now called Funny Monkey, this is a very nice homestay run by two enthusiastic girls. The staff were clean and helpful, and the owner cooked super food. I’d especially recommend it for families with young children.
