Avoid getting your laundry done here. My group stayed at the hotel and had laundry washed, but lots of items were missing or ended up in the wrong piles. Every one of my shirts came back stained, and those stains weren’t there before. Spend your money elsewhere.

We came as a group on a motorbike tour. Parking is limited, but there was space for all our bikes and the support truck. Check-in had been arranged in advance, so everything was ready, though it looked straightforward enough to do on arrival too. There’s no elevator, but the stairs are nice. The rooms face outside and are simple, with a bed, table space, closet, mini fridge, bathroom and shower, and AC. Great river views, and it’s a short walk to the Phong Nha cave ticket booth and boat dock.

We had trouble falling asleep because we felt uncomfortable. The hotel was very old, the bathroom was completely moldy, and the sheets were stained. 😣

The setting is beautiful, and the hotel is about what you’d expect in this area. The rooms were clean but very basic. The shower sprays everywhere except where you’d most want it, and breakfast was very ordinary.

Beautiful mountains surround the hotel, and it’s near a waterway. The service was really good, and breakfast was free and delicious. I’d definitely come back.
