Victory Road Villas

The villas gave us lots of space and privacy, and they’re thoughtfully furnished. We felt welcome right away thanks to Hien & colleagues. The food was a real treat, especially the fresh, handmade breads and pastries. We also noticed the hotel’s commitment to sustainability throughout our two-night stay. It was a lovely place to unwind, and we’d happily come back.

We liked the restaurant so much that we ended up eating there twice a day. Every dish was excellent, with both local and Western choices, and the service from Glenda, our lovely waiter, made it even better. It’s a calm spot with a great lake view. Highly recommended, and we truly loved it.

The restaurant is a real plus, with Vietnamese and Western food on offer, and the comfortable, nicely designed rooms made our stay easy. The staff were wonderfully helpful and hospitable. It’s hard to find this kind of quality, and I’d say it’s the best place to stay in Phong Nha town. A perfect base for exploring Phong Nha National Park.

Watching the village wake up from the riverside was a highlight, and we later got to travel down that river by Dragon Boat on the way to Phong Nha cave. The villas serve some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve had. The restaurant and bar have a quirky, cosy feel, with an open fire, comfy sofas, a funky bar, and seating indoors and out. Our room was spacious and clean, and felt high-end for the price, with river views. The staff were friendly, knew the area well, and went out of their way to arrange what we needed despite the poor weather. There was still plenty to do. I’d highly recommend Victory Road Villas in Phong Nha.
