An Nhien Retreat Phu Quoc

We had a leak in our room after the first day’s rain, but the staff moved us promptly. They were helpful throughout, and the rooms were clean, with cleaning available on request. The place is tucked away from the main street, about a five-minute walk from the beach, and close to services, SPAs, laundry, and a motorcycle rental just across the road for 120K/ day. Laundry was 15K/ 3KG. We spent 5 days here and loved the tropical pool and the friendly dogs who were always looking for a cuddle. Breakfast was included every day, with choices from fruit pancakes to bacon and eggs. Tea, water, coffee, and treats were available whenever we wanted. 10/10.

Practicing with Nu was such a calming way to start the day. The session was guided really well, and I can’t wait to practice with Nu again.

We came in rainy season, which somehow made the place feel even cozier. The rooms were roomy and good value, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The owner is Indian and also teaches yoga. Breakfast had plenty of choice, including vegetarian and vegan meals, and the food was fresh and cooked just right. The jungle feel is beautiful, and we’d happily come back to Phu Quoc.

The host was so welcoming and shared lots of recommendations with us. I also loved the daily morning yoga sessions.
