The room was spacious, cleaned every day, and very affordable. The place is peaceful despite being beside the Night Market, and it’s close to Sona Sea night market and the beach too. Staff and owner were courteous, honest, friendly, and genuinely helpful. You can rent bikes here as well. One of Phu Quoc’s hidden gems, and a must-visit.

What I liked most was how tranquil and quiet the place felt. The rooms are fresh, spacious, and nicely decorated, and sitting beneath the dim yellow lights is a lovely way to unwind. The warm, cozy decor extends to the coffee shop, restaurant, and small souvenir outlet. They also offer motorcycle rental and laundry. Thanks to the receptionist for the kindness and hospitality. If I get the chance to return to this exquisite island, Bayya hotel will be one of my first choices.

For the price, this may be the best cheap hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and it’s probably the best value in the area right now. The catch was the bill at checkout. It felt like they tried to pull a fast one, so I’m taking off a star. I can’t say how it was before the pandemic.

My friend had booked this place and let them know we’d arrive at 2am, but the whole property was dark when we got there and nobody was around. We had to find another hotel for the night, and afterward the hotel never contacted us, not even with an email or notice. Thank goodness it was cheap.

Our family had a great time at Bayya Hotel during the holidays. It’s still a new place, but they’re doing their best to look after guests, and the owner was pleasant to deal with. We had a fun stay in Phu Quoc.
