The staff were a real plus: friendly, professional and ready to help. Diem Mi at the front desk was warm and attentive, and made check-in smooth. Her support left me with a very positive impression. The hotel is modern and elegant, with a bright, welcoming feel and a practical but stylish layout. My room was clean, well maintained and thoughtfully arranged. The bed was especially comfortable, and daily room service helped make it a relaxing stay. Breakfast was fresh, flavorful and well prepared, with enough variety for different tastes. It’s also in a great central location, just a short walk from the beach and convenient for sightseeing, beach activities, restaurants and local attractions. Day Star Hotel felt like good value for comfortable accommodation and strong service. I’d gladly come back and recommend it to other travelers.

The location made a great base for seeing the island, and we’d recommend the hotel if you want good value with modern features. The building is clean and contemporary, and the rooms are large for the price. We liked the mirror lights, the air conditioning worked well, and the shower was great. There’s a safe in the room, and you can reach the rooms by lift. Housekeeping was very good, bringing fresh towels, water and toiletries each day. Staff were polite and helpful at check-in and check-out. We ate out, so can’t comment on breakfast. The pool looked clean and modern, though we didn’t use it because we were out exploring beaches. There’s also a bar and café. We did find a few small ants, which didn’t bother us much in the hot climate. Once we returned to a large cockroach and put it outside. I don’t think that was the hotel’s fault, and our room itself was spotless, but it’s worth mentioning for anyone who’s afraid of them. You can hear some corridor noise and movement from above, as other reviews said. It was no worse than at other hotels we stayed in Vietnam, and didn’t disturb our sleep.

The breakfast was good, and the restaurant staff were the only ones who gave good service. Mr. Chang from security was also welcoming and behaved very well with guests. We stayed three nights at this new hotel, but the overall service needs a lot of professional improvement. After 6 p.m. they switch off the lobby air conditioning, and the maintenance doesn’t meet the standard you’d expect from a place calling itself four-star.
