Homestead Seaview Phu Quoc Hotel

The beach and pool were fantastic, and we had a lovely time despite the slightly cloudy weather. Reception staff were very nice. Breakfast leaned heavily toward rice and other carbs, with few Western options, though the fruit was good. The one big problem was the cleaning staff calling loudly to each other in a group at 8 in the morning. I first thought it was children playing. I had to leave my room each morning to ask them to be quiet, and I don't expect to be woken that early by staff shouting. Apart from that, the stay was amazing. Please have the cleaning staff work quietly in the hotel section. Thank you for a lovely stay.

My villa felt like a spacious apartment, and having a little swimming pool right in the room was easily my favorite part. Room service was nice, and the food was okay. I was happy to receive a free upgrade when I arrived. The resort is only minutes from the airport and easy to reach, though it isn't very central and still feels a bit secluded. I'd still like to return.

Loved the big room, nice pool, and small private beach. Breakfast was good too, with different food each day. Walk to the right and there's a beautiful big white sand beach as well.

We had an ocean-view room with a fantastic outdoor bathroom and tub, and the rooms were very clean. The location also gives you great beach access. The food was good for a resort. A couple of things kept this from being five stars: we couldn't tell that the pool had any chlorine, and there were bugs in the shady spots. It also felt backwards that the bar had three or four staff around, often with little to do, but no one came to take orders at the pool or beach. It wasn't busy, either. We would have liked to open a tab and get full bar service there, as we did at other places on this trip.
