Hotel Duong Dong Town

The place is a little out of the way, so the location wasn't ideal for me. Services like scooter rental and laundry are available, though they cost a bit much. Still, it's fine if you prefer to be independent.

Being close to K-Market was the one bright spot. The room itself was bare and unwelcoming, nothing like the decorated Booking photo, and made me feel as if I were staying in a hangar. It also wasn't ready for us: the linens were very dirty, the fridge was moldy, cobwebs were in a corner, and the floors in both the room and bathroom had been mopped badly. They only cleaned the parts I pointed out, right in front of me, though I could have waited while they cleaned properly. Then we found that items listed on Booking, including a hair dryer and kitchen appliances, were missing. Instead of bringing everything together, they delivered things one at a time whenever I noticed another omission. One of the worst rental stays I've had.

Reasonably priced and close to a supermarket, with a well-equipped kitchen in the room. Everyone should give this place a try.

A spacious, clean and breezy room, close to the center. A great place to stay while visiting Phu Quoc.
