Kite Resort Phu Quoc

The resort felt peaceful and cozy, like home, and after two weeks there from February to March, I left with a warm, unforgettable impression. I want to thank the family who own and run La Casa Resort on Phu Quoc Island. Their kindness, attentiveness, and readiness to help at any time made me feel like part of the family, not just a guest. The service was excellent and personal. It was touching to see their children helping their parents, and the whole family putting their hearts into the business. Their smiles and friendliness made the stay even nicer. This is somewhere I truly want to return to. About a six-minute walk from the sea, and the rooms were kept clean with fresh towels every day. The service was the best, with helpful people always smiling. Breakfast used fresh ingredients and the restaurant had lots of options. Best location on Phu Quoc. Highly recommend.

We paid 650€ for eight days, plus the 500k VDN missing from our wallet. While we were at the pool for nearly three hours, I saw three workers, including the boss, go into the room to bring water and do a little cleaning. We returned and were getting ready to go for dinner when I noticed the money was gone. Nobody else had entered, and I found it odd that three people were looking after the room. I can't prove what happened, but I felt unsafe and wish we'd booked somewhere else. I'm also not sure what happened to my expensive Nike air max. I noticed while packing that they were missing, but I don't want to point fingers without knowing. This isn't really a resort, more like a homestay. Breakfast was much the same each day. Vietnamese guests were served first, and some Russian guests came to eat with their bellies showing, which wasn't a great view at breakfast. There were ants all over the table by the juice station, which felt unhygienic. The pool wasn't cleaned for two days, as shown in the photo. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

The staff were the biggest plus of our week with friends. Tony, the manager, was warm and helpful, gave us plenty of tips for activities, restaurants, and massages, and put on a great playlist to liven up the bar. Thanks to the whole team, especially Tony, for making the stay better. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. We had a calm, pleasant garden and a magnificent pool right outside the room. The restaurant was delicious and the atmosphere was always pleasant. We all highly recommend staying here.
