La Paloma Resort

We stayed in one of the individual bungalows, which was modern and comfortably furnished. Ours even had a bathtub. The pool was clean and pleasant, and the garden felt quiet and relaxing. The staff knew little or no English, which was the only downside, but they did try to help. When needed, we got by using a Translate app.

A really beautiful place, laid-back and relaxing, at a fair price. It’s well suited to getting around by motorbike, so you can enjoy some peace and freedom while heading to different spots on the island. Recommended.

We went in the off season and had the whole place to ourselves. The rooms were clean and nice, and the grounds were cared for, with a good swimming pool. It’s not near much, so you’ll probably want to hire a moped since taxis are very expensive. There’s a good shop just a two-minute walk away.

You’ll need a motorbike to get around from here, which is the main drawback. They rent them at the property, though, and you can get a good deal if you stay a few days. The bungalows are spacious and clean, set among nature, and their design suits the quiet, natural feel of the place. Some have private outdoor bathrooms, which are great for showering in the open air. The staff were friendly and helpful.
