Lien My Tam Hotel

This hotel is on a busy, noisy road, and the woman I spoke to was rude and had a bad attitude. Google Maps showed 320k, and Agoda showed 360k, but when I asked for a room she still wanted 400k. We left and found a nearby place with fair advertised pricing and good staff. To clarify my one-star rating, it means I don't recommend the place. I review places we visit, good and bad, based on what happened to us. My review describes the full interaction, and providing good service plus accurate, fair prices online and in person could help avoid people wasting time visiting when it doesn't suit them.

There are restaurants and marts close by. The room was clean, and the service staff were welcoming.

The clean room is the only reason this gets one star. Their apparent kindness felt fake. As long-stay guests, we saw repeated problems: staff entered our rooms whenever they wanted, whether we were there or not, claiming they needed to check things like the electricity or cable. When we asked why, they shouted at us and assumed we had stolen or damaged their things, treating us like thieves. They said we weren't their customers because our company paid for the stay, as if that meant we didn't deserve respect. The elevator was regularly blocked with claims it was being fixed, even though staff could use it. When we invited friends over to work on projects or hang out, we were questioned like criminals. There were many other unacceptable things too. After we complained, they literally kicked us out. If our hotel hadn't paid for our stay, I would never have stayed here. That's it.
