Getting around was expensive because there were no motorbike taxi drivers available, so a car taxi was the only option. There also didn't seem to be any open restaurants or shops nearby. The reception looked like a warehouse. At night, the two dogs on the property, one small and one huge, got excited and barked at people from my room. A nearby karaoke started at 8.45 pm while I was asleep and kept going until 10 pm. Inside the room, cleaning was barely done: dust under and beside the bed, dirty tables I had to wipe myself, and cigarette butts from the previous guest on the bedside table. The AC was dusty and had two dead beetle bugs inside when I opened it, and the ceiling mold was making paint peel and fall into the AC. The toilet seat was stained, and I didn't dare sit on it.

The room had powerful AC, clean bedding, a fridge, and plenty more. The place itself was beautiful and very clean. There were lots of cats and dogs around, all super cute and friendly. I really recommend it.

We were two people, and the price, service, and room were all pretty good. Check-in and checkout were quick. Maybe next time I’ll come with my family and have an even more interesting stay.

The coffee shop had a really lovely view, and the food was delicious. The staff at Lilac Cottage were also very attentive and enthusiastic during our recent vacation.
