The room setup was uncomfortable for friends traveling together, since the toilet, sink, and bedroom were divided only by semi-transparent curtains. The beach was tiny and unfortunately full of trash, and the hotel's mobile signal was very weak. Even uploading an Instagram story took ages, while signal on random roads near tourist spots was much better. The scenery itself is nice, and we chose the place for its private beach and free kayaking, but getting to almost any attraction took more than 30 minutes from the city center. When we couldn't get a Grab, the host mocked us instead of helping with transport or showing basic courtesy. The attitude was disappointing, and the stay wasn't enjoyable.

This is on the quiet eastern side of Phu Quoc, so it's a place to relax, with no activities around. The rooms are good, and the beachfront suite has enough space for a family of four. There are hammock stands but not enough hammocks. Lots of dogs roam the property. I recommend it if you're comfortable around dogs, but I wouldn't suggest it to someone like me who's afraid of them. There's no food on site, so you'll need to go out. Sun and sea restaurant, within a 2 km radius, serves food.

The room itself was really nice, but there was no access to the ocean or a pool, and you'll need a scooter here. I booked a waterfront room through their website 24 hours before arriving, then found out it wasn't available, even though the site still showed it as available. Sorting out another room was tricky with the language barrier, and the staff didn't seem sympathetic or interested in fixing it. A third party booking site may be the better choice. I'd suggest contacting a person before you arrive.

It's a little far from the city center, but you can call a Grab to the airport. The staff are incredibly friendly, just ask if you need anything. There's also a restaurant a short walk away that sells beer.
