MIna Homestay

We meant to stay elsewhere during our time in Phú Quốc, but enjoyed this place so much that we stayed a full week. The grounds are lush and beautifully maintained, and everything felt peaceful. There's also a cute cat around the property. The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and sweet. She brought us fresh fruit almost every day, which made us feel especially welcome. The place was very affordable for what it offers: a free washing machine, fully equipped kitchen, and fresh towels and water bottles daily. Room service was great, and the pool was beautiful and well maintained. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well set up. The beds were firm but comfortable, and both the AC and fan worked perfectly in the heat. There's a public beach not too far away. It's not marked on Google, but if you find it, I highly recommend a visit. Hardly anyone goes there, so it felt almost like a small private beach. I definitely plan to stay here again.

A calm place to stay if you want to explore a more rural, authentic side of Vietnam. The garden is cozy, with flowers, butterflies, crickets, a sweet cat, and a lovely floral smell. The Vietnamese host was friendly and helpful, and likes to give guests fruit and her baked goods. She helped me get an entrance ticket to Safari and knows how to arrange things at good prices. There are restaurants, cafes, bars, and marts around, with lots of local fruit and food as well as more international choices. Motorbikes are available to rent for a very good price, 100k vnd for a good bike that rides smoothly. I'd suggest calling the place directly, since you might get a discount compared with booking through a site like booking.com.

We had a lovely nine-day stay, with a beautiful pool to cool off in and the beach close by for swimming, sunbathing, and sunsets. The staff and service were incredible. We also ate at tintins family kitchen on the main road, and the food was delicious. Everyone there was so warm and welcoming. We'd stay here again if we returned to the island, and we'd definitely eat at tintins again.

The hosts made our trip easy, helping us arrange activities and onward travel, and even sharing fresh fruit from the garden. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!
