The room had a window I couldn't open because of a gas pipeline outside, which made the first day uncomfortable. But when I met the owner the next day, her kindness and concern for my comfort really changed how I felt, and I decided to extend my stay. The hotel was full for that extra night, so I needed to find somewhere else. She personally found us a nearby hotel with good standards at almost half the price, then drove us there for free in her own car. The room had its limits, but her care and support made a strong positive impression. Her hospitality was beyond what I expected.

The location is excellent, right by good coffee shops, the night market, the waterfront, and convenience stores. Still, I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing my partner here. I stayed three nights in room 105, and the room was small, dated, and still seemed under construction. There was trash from previous guests, cockroaches in the sink, unpatched holes where the TV mount had been, and shower heads that leaked. It might work for a short or solo trip.

The family running this hotel are really nice, and my room had a lovely view. Restaurants, the beach, and the night market are close, while the day market is just a short way across the bridge. I've stayed in lots of hotels in Vietnam, and for the price, friendly staff, and their kids, this is one of the best I've found.

For a low-budget hotel, it's enough for what it is. The rooms are clean, the amenities are sufficient, and it's right in the center.

A crazy, horrible stay. We had booked four nights but left after just one. The bathroom was dirty and had a cockroach, the room's equipment was very old, and the staff couldn't speak a word of English.
