Salinda Resort Phu Quoc Island

The pool area, well-kept resort, friendly professional service, and one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had were real highlights. The evening live band was fantastic too, and we’d happily return to Salinda Resort. A note for anyone planning a beach holiday: during the rainy season, roughly from May onwards, the sea in front of the resort was often too rough for comfortable swimming. Some days it wasn’t really possible to get in the water. That’s not the hotel’s fault, but it matters if the beach and sea are a big part of your plans. We also found the cocktails pricey compared with drinks elsewhere. They were good, though nothing special, so we rarely went to the pool bar.

The restaurant was excellent, and the property itself is elegant, beautiful, and very well maintained. The staff were kind and professional. Still, the nightly rate is high, and I expected more consideration for families. There’s no play area, dedicated child-friendly space, or service for guests with young children. I was there with my four-year-old son and often felt uncomfortable. The atmosphere didn’t seem suited to children, and a lively child at a completely normal age seemed to be treated as a disturbance. For a hotel at this price and standard, that’s a significant shortcoming. It comes across as a place for adults and couples looking for quiet. If you’re traveling with young children, I’d suggest finding a property that really welcomes families.

This small resort never felt crowded, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to truly relax. Everything was spotless, and our room was comfortable. Breakfast quickly became the meal we looked forward to most, and the food was excellent. The place is beautiful, but it’s the smiling, welcoming staff who made us feel so cared for and took the stay beyond what we expected. I hope I can visit again someday. Not many hotels leave you feeling like you’ve found a home away from home. Thank you to everyone who makes guests feel so special, and all the best to you!

The whole stay was amazing and made our vacation perfect. The room felt luxurious, with a bathtub and a huge balcony, and whenever we needed something, we could call and they’d take care of it. There’s so much here for enjoying your time: a pool, beach, spa, fully equipped gym, and restaurants serving different cuisines. The atmosphere, views, and greenery were all fantastic. I’d definitely come back.
