Santa Garden Resort

Santa Garden Resort had a lovely, relaxing feel, with a clean and peaceful pool area. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options. The rooms were spotless, cleaned every day, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. The staff were always smiling, friendly, and ready to help. Santa Garden Resort was our favorite stop on our Vietnam trip. The small bungalows sit in a peaceful green setting, and the garden is beautiful and well cared for. Our room was nice, with a large bathroom, and the pool was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty with lots of variety, the beds were comfortable despite some reviews we’d read beforehand, and the poolside bar was open all day with nice service. It’s not right by the beach or in the city center, but there’s a small grocery store a few minutes’ walk away, restaurants and bars are about ten minutes on foot, and Grab rides are easy. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. Highly recommend Santa Garden Resort if you’re looking for a peaceful, high-quality stay in Vietnam.

My agency booked this resort and described it as four-star, but after arriving and seeing the room, I felt it didn’t even meet a three-star standard. It’s outside the city, so visiting the city means booking a cab and paying extra. There was no bellman, so we had to carry our luggage ourselves even though our room was on the first floor. There’s no elevator, the room has no dressing mirror, and the charging pin slots were loose. Other hotels closer to the city offer excellent amenities. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The resort is quiet and peaceful, just a little removed from the busy main area. It’s around a 15-20 minute drive from the airport. Grab makes getting around easy, with cabs usually arriving in 3-4 minutes. The resort also rents bikes for the full day, and the nearest shops, restaurants, hotels, and other commercial spots are about a 10-minute walk away, or just a minute by Grab. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. We had a 7 am return flight, and they offered to pack breakfast for us at 4:30 am. We were touched by the offer but politely declined because we didn’t want to bother them. The poolside cafe/bar stays open until 9 pm, so you can have dinner at the resort if you don’t feel like going out. The one improvement I noticed is the bathroom ventilation. There’s no exhaust or airflow, which makes it hard to breathe if you spend a while in there. Everything else was fantastic. People complaining about the location should have checked Google Maps before booking, since that’s poor planning on their part.
