Serene Resort in Bai Vong Phu Quoc

The hotel was much worse than we expected, with cleanliness a problem throughout. We found lizards in the room, and after changing rooms twice, we still had the same issue in every room we were given. The linens were dirty, the rooms felt unclean, and the pool water was green and clearly not being maintained properly. The Wi-Fi barely worked, so it was hard to rely on even for basic use. We left immediately because of these conditions and asked for a refund, which we did receive. I appreciate that they granted it, but the stay was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. Based on our experience, the hotel doesn't meet acceptable cleanliness or maintenance standards, and I wouldn't recommend it.
