Soul Boutique Hotel Phu Quoc

We loved the intimate feel of soul boutique hotel, with its beautiful design and attentive staff who made us feel welcome from arrival. The beach club attached to the hotel was a highlight: good music, comfy daybeds, and a lively atmosphere that never felt too chaotic. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh, quality ingredients and great coffee by the water. It was a lovely start to each morning. A chic, relaxing beachfront stay with good food and service. We'd happily return.

The hotel's beach is a lovely place to unwind, and the connection with the Sailing Club meant we had a great spot for meals and drinks. Breakfast was included and delicious, with beautiful sea views. We felt at home from the warm welcome, and our spacious, thoughtfully designed room had everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay and would book again. We mentioned that we were here for our honeymoon, but nothing special was arranged. That wasn't essential, though a small gesture would have added something to an already excellent stay.

One issue was the thin walls. At night we could hear a lot from the corridors and the rooms opposite, so the hotel should remind guests to keep considerate after 10 pm. Apart from that, we had a great stay, and Kiem and Kristian at reception were lovely. The hotel was modern and very clean, and good value for the price with plenty included. There was a free minibar each day, bikes, and nice use of the signature resort facilities. I don't understand complaints about breakfast being off site, since it's only a two-minute walk. The signature resort's sauna, sunbeds, and gym are about a ten-minute walk or five minutes by bike.

Out of the four hotels we stayed at on our Vietnam trip, this was our favorite. Kristan was especially kind, courteous, helpful, and professional, and Kiem at reception was wonderful too. We hope to return. The hotel also has an ice cream bar serving the best ice cream we've ever tasted. Our family of four had two rooms for six nights. The rooms were magnificent, with the most comfortable bed and linen, and the cleanliness was an 11 out of 10. Each day they replenished snacks and drinks and provided fresh swimming towels and a beach bag. We also loved the breakfast, pool, and views. Hiring the hotel's bikes was free. The one small challenge was the long wait for anything we ordered at the pool bar or restaurant. Service throughout Phu Quoc felt extremely slow compared with the other areas of VN we visited.
