Soul History Hotel Phu Quoc

The rooms are spacious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They looked after our bags before check-in so we could visit Vin World without worrying about them. It's a good location, and I recommend staying here. One thing to know: if you choose a beach-facing room, you may be disappointed, as the sea is a bit of a distance away.

The staff were a real plus. The women at reception were kind, attentive, and answered all our questions. We also rented Honda Airblade motorbikes from the hotel, and they were in good condition and convenient for getting around. Our Agoda deal at Luxy Park Hotel was better than we expected for the price. The room was generally clean and had the usual necessities. Breakfast was included, but we skipped it to explore local food. I had heard good things about it, though. There's a Vin bus stop no.17 nearby, with free rides to Duong Dong night market, or you can walk there. Plenty of restaurants, mini marts, and cafes are also close by.

The room was nice, clean, quiet, and well equipped, with good international TV channels. The location is central and close to everything. During my short stay, the woman at reception was kind and efficient, and helped me get a better room. The evening receptionist was nice too, but couldn't give me a piece of paper when I asked, and said he didn't know when I asked for help translating a simple sentence from English to Vietnamese. Management cancelled my booking during the stay, for some reason, so I had to spend time sorting it out with Agoda and reception. It was eventually resolved, but that's why I'm giving four stars.

The hotel cancelled my reservation for December 22 to January 8, 2025, so it could sell my room at a higher price. This hotel is a fraud. Be careful.
