The location made things easy, with the main street’s cafes, restaurants and shops only about two minutes away. There’s also a bus stop very close by, and The Cheeky Traveller English Pub & Bar is around 20 minutes away. We also liked the nearby family restaurant The Family, with aquariums and toys for kids. The food was delicious, especially the fish with creamy cheese sauce, and we highly recommend it. We were very happy with our stay at Sun WIND Paradise Bungalow. We traveled with a baby and three adults, and had a large family bungalow with a refrigerator, kettle, air conditioner, table, chairs, wardrobes and complimentary hygiene kits. It was cleaned every day, and our room looked out over the swimming pool. The pool was always clean, and the grounds were tidy and well cared for. A big thank you to the owner, who was calm, kind and always ready to help with questions or unexpected problems. He repaired our suitcase before we left. When my husband’s phone broke, he took it to a friend to be fixed and didn’t charge us. Everyone was friendly with our baby, who happily played with the owner’s son and his toys and toy cars. The owner also gave us coconuts and helped set up the safe and adjust the air conditioner.

Sun and Wind felt like home away from home. It was peaceful at night, and during the day we could hear birds chirping. The property is at the end of a road with no traffic noise, yet restaurants are a three-minute walk away and the beach is close too. The grounds are beautiful and clean, with mature palm trees, flower shrubs and a clean pool. Mr Dung was great to deal with from the moment I booked. He answered all my questions, and the staff were kind and lovely. The cleaners did a great job, with our room cleaned and fresh towels every day. The rooms are good, the beds are fantastic and you can choose soft or hard. I had the best sleep at the sun and wind. The linens are quality cotton, not cheap microfibre. Hot water was hot, the air con cold and the water pressure very good. We didn’t use the kitchen, but there are kitchen facilities, a bbq and large outdoor family dining tables. They also offer FREE airport pickup. Just book this place, you won’t find a better stay at an affordable price like SUN AND WIND PARADISE!

The location was great, the staff very friendly and the grounds well maintained. The air conditioning also worked well. We’d hoped to stay long-term and booked a few days first, but didn’t feel like extending. We were put in a house at the back rather than a bungalow, and it looked different from the photos. It was spacious and had a private kitchen, which was nice, but felt worn and not very cozy. There was only a bright ceiling light, so the room was uncomfortable in the evenings. The shower had no shelves for shampoo or other toiletries, which was inconvenient.

We stayed about a week, and our hosts were so kind and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and had good aircon, while the pool was lovely and well maintained. It’s on a side street just off the busy area, so it’s peaceful but still close to everything. If I’m back in Phu Quoc, I’ll definitely stay here again.
