Oceanami Villa Homestay - Oceanami Villa Homestay & Beach Club Long Hai

So bad. Everyone, think carefully before coming here.

The beach was close and easy to reach, which was better than at many other resorts. That was one of the few positives from my second stay. I booked through TikTok, and the experience was terrible. I don’t know if this place even deserves three stars, let alone five. The room smelled strongly of mold and bleach, and I couldn’t sleep all night. It was old, with peeling paint, crumbling wallpaper, a broken shower head hanging from its hose, and a dirty, stained sofa I didn’t dare sit on. Getting around was fairly quick, but the cars seemed to fly over the seats. I had a small child, a backpack, and a suitcase with me. The drivers rushed so much that they seemed ready to leave my family behind and pick them up later. The scenery was cool and green, but the pool was average, smelled strongly of disinfectant, and had quite dirty water. My package didn’t include a buffet, so I had to buy a separate morning ticket for 220k VND per person. The food was poor and sparse. By 7:15 AM it was all gone, and I waited 15 minutes for a refill. The food was so strange, and there wasn’t even a fork to pick anything up with. They also charged extra to park our tour bus. I’m never coming back.

I’ve stayed at Oceanami two or three times before, but this visit was terrible. I was in room B15 09 and checked out on June 3rd. The electric buggy driver was rude to guests and insulted one person in my group. I don’t know if something personal had upset him or if he’s just rude by nature. He told us, “It’s overloaded, get off!” As soon as one of my friends put a foot on the ground, he started driving. My friend nearly fell, even though the buggy hadn’t given any overload warning. I reported it at reception and got only an apology. I’m still waiting for a solution and a response about buggy number 8. We checked out on June 3rd at 11:45 AM.

A private villa inside the Oceanami resort could be a nice short-break option for families or groups of friends who want to stay near the beach. It’s only a few minutes’ walk to a clean, attractive stretch of beach. The villas are spacious and modern, with a living room, kitchen, several bedrooms, and an airy rooftop terrace. Some have a sea view or garden, which would be nice for a BBQ or time with friends. Guests can also use the resort’s shared facilities, including an infinity pool, gym, and play area, making for a fairly complete resort stay. Prices may rise during busy periods, and when the resort is crowded, service can sometimes be slow. Still, the setting, nearby beach, and full amenities make it worth considering for a short holiday.
