FLC 1PN Quy Nhơn

Restaurants are only about a block behind the hotel, and the sights are spread roughly 1-2 km in either direction. I liked the roomy shower area, and the elongated toilet was comfortable to use. The vanity sink, though, sits far too low, just above knee height, and ought to be raised to international standards. The towels are worn and don’t feel up to a 5-star standard.

We stayed over Tet, and even with the holiday rush the staff took good care of us. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are clean, and the service is decent. FLC City Hotel seems to have opened fairly recently, and I’d trust it for a future visit to Quy Nhon. For a family, I value a place that feels safe, reliable, and clean. Quy Nhon could use more big-name accommodation, and FLC is one of the larger familiar names in the area for condos and apartments. This hotel seems like a promising option. A few things need attention. The hot water pressure was low, our room’s A/C sometimes jumped to a higher fan speed before slowing again, and the toilet ventilation fan was installed but didn’t work, leaving the bathroom air unvented. The Tet crew was visibly small, especially at the egg and noodle stations during breakfast. That seemed to come from the holiday strain across the board, rather than a failing by the team. The sea view is unfortunately spoiled by an abandoned hotel across the road. I’d highly recommend the team try to buy it outright, lol.

We had a great two weeks at FLC City, and I’d recommend the hotel without hesitation. The ocean-view room was roomy and comfortable, the staff were welcoming, and breakfast was good enough that we enjoyed it every day. Room service was excellent, and the Margherita Pizza was probably the best I’ve had in Quy Nhon. The gym is fully equipped, and the pool is nice, though it seemed to collect sand quickly from people coming in off the beach. A more thorough cleaning might help. We were also impressed by the delicious cake delivered to our room every night. Special thanks to Don, who made breakfast especially enjoyable. It was always fun chatting with him.
