Quy nhon itself is a great place, with lovely people and great food. The hotel, though, felt like a disgrace to it. The bathroom was below par. If you’re 6ft, you have to kneel to shower, and management didn’t seem to care. I thought the hotel might be demolished soon. Breakfast was rubbish, and we were charged 400k for two each day. We ended up going across the road to flc for breakfast instead. The staff were hopeless, and all my complaints fell on deaf ears. I also felt uncomfortable when staff pointed and laughed at me. I was the only person of color there.

The hotel is a bit old, but the location is gold. The view is absolutely amazing, and you can walk to the sea in just a few minutes.

I loved staying here. The rooms were clean and comfy, and from the left side you get the most beautiful sunrise view. The location is beautiful too, and the staff were amazing. Highly recommend 🙏

The beach view is nice, service was good, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Room service did a great job, breakfast was okay, and the mini bar amenities were nice, with some tea provided free. It’s a very quick walk to the beach. The pool was closed during my two-night stay, unfortunately. A few things were inconvenient. The air conditioning remote was super annoying, and the unit on the porch felt dangerous. I accidentally touched it, got electrocuted, and had a bit of numbness in my finger. The hotel should have grounded the units. The bathtub was too high, and without a shower curtain, water splashed everywhere. Breakfast had great items, apart from a plum I got that had a maggot in it. It’s a nice place overall, but I’d avoid getting close to the air conditioning unit and check your plums carefully.

We stayed at Hoang Yen hotel for 5 days. The facilities are new, good, and well maintained, even though the hotel was built a long time ago. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay, though I preferred the sticky rice. We’ll definitely come back next time we arrive in Quy Nhon.
