For me, the best part is how well placed it is. All the big-name cafes are an easy walk away, and there's a laundry, Goi Dau, and a gym nearby too. Inside, I had a roomy space, good AC, a comfortable bed, plenty of luggage storage, a hot shower in its own enclosure, and a TV with the Netflix App. The staff were kind and really helpful. It's everything I want when traveling Vietnam, and I'd recommend it over many places I've stayed in Quy Nhon.

We've stayed here twice now, and it was just as good the second time. Tuan is a fantastic host who can sort out whatever you need, from scooter hire and local tours to tips on food or bars.

Right in the city center, this is a nice new hotel. The room's decor was pretty good for the price, and there are lots of street restaurants within walking distance. Seems best for a short stay if you won't spend much time in the room.

We came back to The Fancy House after a few days exploring the coast around Quy Nhon, which says a lot about how much we liked it. During our first stay in December 2019, we found the rooms clean, nicely sized, and comfortable, and the young host couple even let us use their kitchen. Supermarkets, trendy bars, cafes, and the beach are just a short walk away. The hosts were the real highlight. They helped us rent scooters, showed us around the neighborhood, and put together a custom street food itinerary in Quy Nhon that was fantastic. They speak English too. If you're wondering whether Quy Nhon is worth a visit, I'd say go for at least three nights, even if you're only passing through for one. There's the city, Bai Xep, and other beaches nearby. It felt like a hidden gem, with good weather, beautiful beaches, a relaxed atmosphere, cheap and tasty food, and almost no other western tourists.
