The Villa Hieu Hy

It was during the pandemic, so the place was extremely clean and quiet. The hotel was BRAND new when I stayed there. Breakfast was great, and they helped my friend and me rent bikes so we could ride around. Loved the place and would definitely go back.

The rooms are new, spacious, and clean, with a great bathroom and hot water. Staff were friendly and helpful. Right now there's construction all around, and the location feels too far from everything, though that should be temporary. Once the work is finished, it will be perfect. If you've got your own scooter, it's 5*.

The most comfortable pillows in the world wouldn't make me come back unless they change how this place is managed. It's a new family hotel that opened a month ago, with nice rooms, but the neighborhood feels like a ghost town because many houses aren't finished. The family needs to learn more about service and looking after guests. The son and daughter are very young and inexperienced. They both said I could stay another night and seemed happy about it, but at 3 pm they came up with some lie that I couldn't stay after all, saying it was his hotel and check-out was at 12 pm. Most likely they hadn't got it approved by their father. Communication between family members was poor, and the father seemed to want to control everything. I had to change my plans and move out. There was no hot water either. The son apologized again and again but forgot to bring me a bucket of hot water.

The location is too far away, and the neighborhood made me feel creepy. The staff were truly unfriendly and not helpful at all. I had lots of problems and none were solved. The host, especially the son, was so unprofessional. Terrible service, and I would never come back. Please don't ruin your vacation with this place.
