2022 update: One of the worst hotels I've stayed in. It isn't worth even one star. Cleanliness was neglected, the room was very dirty and dusty, the pillows and bed smelled, and the walls were covered in snot marks. There was no hot water anywhere. The neighbors were noisy, and reception service was unprofessional. It seems the owner and family are staying on the top floor. Avoid it. It was shocking after how it had been three years earlier. 2019: I really enjoyed my stay. The owners were very friendly, the rooms were brand new and in good condition, and the cleaner always did a great job. Outside, there was the beach, plenty of street food, and lots of parking. Being in the city center made it easy to get around. My only criticism was the ants that could show up if food was left out or eaten in the room. Maybe the rooms could be made more ant-repellent. Give it a try.
