Hoa Binh - Rach Gia Resort

Great value for the price, with clean, neat rooms. The hotel is two minutes from the PQ ferry, and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast starts at 6am, which helps if you're catching the 7am ferry. The staff really were great.

We had a great stay at Hoa Binh hotel in December 2025, and I’d still stay there again. But a front desk mistake cost us over USD100, so be careful with your booking. The staff don’t seem very well trained. 🌟🌟🌟

After our prepaid Hotels.com booking was denied, we showed the hotel the app, which confirmed we hadn’t canceled. The manager, Mr. Tuấn, still said we’d have to pay again to stay, so we refused and drove another three hours to find a room in a different city. We’re waiting for Hotels.com to give us a full refund. The hassle and frustration were significant, but we had to move on. We’d arrived at Hòa Bình Restaurant & Hotel around 3:00 PM after a three-hour drive from Châu Đốc. Reception said our reservation had been canceled. They claimed someone else canceled it, then showed us a written request from Traveloka, a platform we never used. It was for a guest with the same name, but a different booking number, guest count, room category, and rate.

You can walk to just about everything you need or want to see from here. The service was really friendly, and the rooms have been redone recently and were very clean.
