The steep road and one-way street made getting to the main road with our luggage inconvenient. That was the only downside to the location. We stayed on the second floor, in a room that was well-equipped and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed. Filtered drinking water is available from a dispenser in the ground-floor kitchen. The top floor has a lovely view of the surrounding area. Staff were quick to answer our questions on WhatsApp and very helpful. We also rented an automatic motorbike from them for 120,000 VND per day, which was convenient. We had a pleasant stay and appreciated the service and amenities.

The Wi-Fi was unpredictable, sometimes reaching 100-300 Mbps, sometimes falling to around 50 Mbps, and sometimes dropping out. Still, I could work on Zoom and other applications. The free washing machine and dryer were handy, and there was detergent, water, a kitchen, refrigerator, and towels. But the room was damp, the gaps were dirty, and the mattress smelled of sweat. I didn’t think the mattress in front of the bed was needed. I was bitten every night, perhaps by mites or fleas, which was unpleasant.

A cozy place to stay in Sapa, with a smart location. You could call it a cat hotel, too. Four beautiful cats live there, and we even got to host two of them in our room for a little while.

There’s an organized parking area, and if you arrive early or leave late, you can wait in the common room or leave your luggage. Sun Plaza is within walking distance and everything is nearby. The pathway is quite steep.

The host was thoughtful and helpful, and gave us a gift that we really appreciated. The location and friendly price are reasons I’d recommend it, and communication was easy.
