DeLaSol Sapa Hotel

The room view was the highlight for us. We could see Fansipan mountain, with a misty breeze over the mountain valley that took our breath away. We also appreciated the tea, coffee, toiletries, and other amenities, plus the excellent housekeeping. We spent four nights at this place in the heart of town, and it was a delight. The cozy lighting and inviting decor gave it a relaxed, intimate feel. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable, making us feel like VIPs without getting in the way. Breakfast was delicious too, with a generous spread and an amazing view. If you want a luxurious stay in a convenient spot with a room that has incredible views, this is the place.

The staff made our stay special, especially Hoan and Long. We arrived a day before our original booking, and Hoan patiently checked what rooms were available, showed us different categories, and let us decide before making an on-the-spot booking. He also arranged a small birthday token for us. Thank you. The view across the misty mountains and valley kept changing with the light, and it was lovely to sit and take it in. Our Mountain View Deluxe Room had the things we wanted: a big sofa and carpet for lounging, good in-room coffee with a Nespresso Machine, a Smart TV with Netflix, and plush bedding. The lobby and restaurant were well curated, with modern indochine design and cultural accents of Sapa's H'mong tribe. Chapa Brasserie has a breakfast buffet and a la carte choices. The spread leaned toward Vietnamese food and felt right for the room rate. We liked the made-to-order eggs and Pho, and there was something for everyone. The thick Vietnamese coffee with condense milk was especially good. One small suggestion: breakfast music was loud love songs one day, then silent the next. A more consistent, quieter instrumental playlist might work better with diners’ conversations. We had a fantastic stay and will come back soon.

We had a good rest in the clean, spacious room. It was warm with the heater, which mattered because it dropped below 7 at night, and the bathroom was clean with hot water. The breakfast had a good variety, including delicious Vietnamese dishes. My friend and I stayed at DeLaSol for two days in Nov - Nov 2025. Check-in staff were professional and nice, and we had a very nice experience. We’ll come back on our next trip to Sa Pa - Vietname. Thank you.

The location is convenient for finding food and message, but the room looked old and didn’t match the pictures. The service was terrible. At check-in, the short guy with the spec kept listing items that would cost extra, as if I couldn’t pay. His English was very poor and he didn’t really understand what I meant. A front desk person should understand guests’ needs and requests and know English well. I asked housekeeping to come at ten, but no one showed up. When I got back, the room was still dirty. I called the desk, and the same guy said he’d told housekeeping to clean. I waited an hour and called again. He said they could come after another hour, without apologizing. He should have told me earlier. That’s unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. It wasn’t worth what I paid, don’t waste your money staying here.
