For just 150k, we got a lovely, spacious room, so I can understand some of the modest reviews but really can’t complain much. The room was spotless, everything worked, and it was a great size. The location is central, within walking distance of everything, but very noisy because of all the construction in Sapa. The staff don’t speak English and weren’t particularly helpful. Still, I doubt you’ll find much better for that price.
