Moc Sapa Hotel

Getting here and checking in was easy, with clear directions sent over WhatsApp. I slept really well, the place was clean, and the hot showers were great. There’s a comfortable waiting room where you can nap if you arrive early. Just down the road is an amazing banh mi, and the location puts you in the middle of everything. Be prepared for a lot of stairs. It was fine for me as someone fit enough, but I wouldn’t have my parents stay here.

The views are amazing for the price, and the location is close to the main road and Sapa centre (Sapa Station), though you do have to go down quite a few stairs. The staff were kind and friendly. I left a small bag in a Grab taxi, and a staff member called the driver and retrieved it for me from the main street. There’s a waiting room with a fully equipped bathroom, which was really useful for freshening up after arriving early on a sleeper bus, before heading up to Fansipan. The amenities were great. Highly recommended!

We arrived early, and the host let us leave our luggage in the waiting room and wash up. The place was much cleaner than we expected, and she was really accommodating. I feel bad that I didn’t ask the name of the person who welcomed us, because she was great and even helped carry our heavy luggage. There are lots of stairs and slopes on the way, so I wouldn’t recommend bringing luggage. That was our mistake for not checking first. We definitely recommend the place!

It’s a well-organized, self-service stay with luxury amenities, a waiting room and a common area. There’s a bathtub with a view, and you can take items from the open kitchen, note them down, and pay later. The washing machine and dryer are free. The only drawbacks are that there’s no elevator, and you have to walk up with all your luggage yourself. Still, the stay is worth it.
