Nomadtrails boutique hotel

We had a clean, comfortable stay at this hotel in Sapa. It isn't fancy, but the bed had a built-in heater that kept us warm in the cold weather, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The shower water was very cold, perhaps because the heater couldn't keep supplying hot water in Sapa's cold conditions. It's very close to Sapa train station. We could leave our baggage there for a while after checkout, and it felt very safe. They also have two cute poodles.

We really enjoyed staying here in Sa Pa. The hotel was very clean, and the receptionist was helpful and gave excellent service. It's right in the city center, near lots of restaurants and tourist attractions in Sapa. Highly recommended.

The room lights were a little dim, but the room was fairly well equipped. There was a heater in the bed, a hair dryer, and all the usual amenities. We could refill water in the lobby and borrow a microwave from the kitchen. I arrived at dawn before heading to Fansipan, and they let me leave my luggage.

The heated mattress made the biggest difference for me in the cold weather, and the room was clean and comfortable. Nomadtrails Boutique Hotel is also handy for Sa Pa Station, so we could take a day trip to Fansipan without hassle. The receptionist was a kind, bald man whose name I forgot. He didn't speak English, but patiently did his best to communicate through a translator app, which I really appreciated. They let us check in early for a small extra fee. I can't remember the exact amount, but it wasn't expensive and was well worth it, especially with the chilly weather outside. It made our Sa Pa stay much easier and more comfortable, and seems a great option if you're visiting Fansipan.
