We came without a booking, and the host kindly showed us around and explained what was available. We liked the place straight away. It’s modern, thoughtfully decorated, and has what you need for a comfortable stay. We spent 12 nights at Opal House. The couple who own it are very friendly, and we made good use of the kitchen, living room, terrace, and garden. We even had a barbecue once. It was quiet at night, so we slept well. Towels were replaced daily and drinking water was provided. The host shared some of her cooking with us, which gave us a chance to try new foods. The village center location is handy for cafes, restaurants, and little shops, with lovely mountain scenery, birds, and butterflies around. We didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend, and we’d definitely come back.

We stayed four nights in a bungalow at Opal House, and it was worth every penny. The price is low for what you get. The bungalows are modern, spotless, and far more comfortable than I expected. It’s a peaceful place to unwind, with a lovely garden and an incredible view. The whole property is clean and well looked after. There are good restaurants and coffee shops nearby, so it’s easy to find food and drinks without going far. Highly recommend!

The place is beautifully decorated, and I felt like I was staying in a magazine. My partner and I came while hiking in Sapa, then liked it so much we stayed for 10 days. The couple who own it were kind and hospitable, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. I hope to stay again when I visit Vietnam. Thanks for having us :))

We liked this homestay so much that we extended our visit by a week. It felt like home, with a kitchen we could use, electric heated blankets, and a clean, comfortable room. After checking out many places in the village, we chose Opal as the best place to stay. The couple who own it are welcoming and very hospitable.

We booked the entire homestay for seven people. Breakfast was freshly prepared each day, and the place was clean with great amenities. There are cafes nearby, and the view of the muong hoa valley is awesome. The host was very helpful, arranging late check-in, hotpot, transport, and bike rentals. Towels were changed daily too. Highly recommend for groups!
