There were no windows in our room, and it felt damp and smelled of mold. The Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out. It looks good in the photos and is cheap, but I didn't think it was worth the price. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

A little uphill and some distance from the main area, though still walkable, this was a really nice place to stay. The rooms were good and well maintained. The women looking after the hotel were very sweet and helped us sort out a money transaction problem. There are restaurants, bike rentals, and shops all around, so we had what we needed nearby.

Sapa Clover Hotel made our first trip to Sapa memorable. We arrived at 4am and they let us check in early. They also helped us find transport to Lao Cai railway station. The hospitality was top notch.

It's a clean, good budget hotel and definitely worth the price. A lovely family runs the place and does everything they can to make your stay a good one. Just note that the entrance is through a shop.

We stayed for two nights and found it generally passable. The beds have heaters, and the staff are friendly and quick to respond to requests.
