Sapa Green Hotel

For the price, the room was perfect: spacious, with three beds. It's old but classy, and the buffet breakfast was good. Sa Pa station is an easy walk, only 200 m away.

The location is excellent, tucked behind Sapa Station with just a short slope to get there. Our family stayed two nights in February 2026. The room was very clean and comfortable, though the view wasn't anything special. Amenities included a toothbrush, shower cap, shampoo, body soap, tea and coffee, and tissues, but no hair treatment. It was quiet at night and we slept well. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. Great for location and cleanliness, just don't expect a good view or Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi was terrible.

The staff provided great service and could converse fairly well in English, which was a plus. The room and toilet were clean and nice, and I liked the location, but the room amenities were abysmal. Hot water was unreliable. It exists, but even at the highest setting the water was barely not freezing, not warm, let alone hot. Wi-Fi was decent when connected, but would sometimes drop or show 'Connected without internet'. I know this is a 3 star hotel, but I stayed at another nearby 3 star place and its amenities were at least consistent. Free breakfast is included and might improve the impression, but I still wouldn't consider coming back because of these issues. In short: patchy hot water, unreliable Wi-Fi, and a baby cockroach.

The staff were very helpful when I panicked because HK Busline was past its pickup time. Someone at Sapa Green helped me get in touch with them, and I was picked up before my bus left for Sapa. My room was so spacious I could dance around in it, lol. Breakfast was filling and had lots of variety, from salads and bread to rice, noodles, and pho. I ate plenty each morning during my two-night stay. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily and replaced the towels. I hadn't even noticed the cleaning at first because my things were all over the place. I'll stay here again next time I'm back in Sapa.
