I only stayed one night, but the bed was the comfiest I’ve had so far in Vietnam, where I’ve been for a week and a half. The stone huts felt better insulated than places with simple wood panels, and with the aircon on I was comfortable at night despite the cold outside. I also booked a four-hour local tour with May Sieu. She was great. I highly recommend the guided tours, especially May.

Mike and Tao made the place extra special for us. Mike was courteous, kind, and accommodating, and his English was quite good. Before we arrived, he messaged us on WhatsApp to make sure everything was ready for our needs, and he also arranged our request for a very early check-in. He seemed to handle everything, from the front desk and maintaining the facilities to cooking and serving us a delicious home-cooked dinner. His wife Tao was very nice as well. I really can’t say enough about them. I hope the owner recognizes what a gem Mike is and rewards him accordingly. Mike and Tai, we look forward to seeing you again soon! Sapaxa home stay exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were clean, well maintained, and had all the basic necessities. We loved everything about the place.

The food was tasty enough that we didn’t need to go out. Everyone was kind and helped whenever they could. The rooms were beautiful, the beds super comfortable, and the location very calm. Unfortunately, there were no Spa facilities on site, despite that being mentioned.

We arrived by bus at 7am, before our room was ready, and they kindly offered us a small room above the common area where we could rest. The staff were very friendly. Only one guy spoke English, but he was always available to answer questions, share tips on things to do, and help us rent a bike. The homemade food was very good, and the cutest little puppy was running around. Our room was cozy and actually quite big, with a nice hot shower and even a heat lamp. The homestay is about a 15-20 minute ride from the main centre of Sa Pa, along a beautiful road.

The host family were so welcoming and always ready to help. It was easy to rent a scooter for the day or get our laundry done, and the resort guide was kind and helpful, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. We had a beautiful, restful stay and could really unwind. At Sapaxa Spring Garden Ecolodge, the rooms were spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We slept like babies. The view from our hut was breathtaking and unforgettable. A big thank you for such a lovely time. 😎✌🏼
