The staff did a great job, and the hotel is in a good area, not far from the city and church. We had three rooms. We’d asked for two single beds in one room, but only got them on the last day. The toilet hand shower was short and leaking on that last day too. Apart from those issues, everything was great. Breakfast didn’t have much choice, but the simple options like fried fries, soup, egg, and bread were good.

Unfortunately, there was a major cockroach infestation. We had to switch rooms twice to get away from the roaches and damp mould. The receptionist didn’t seem surprised when we reported it. It’s a shame because the hotel was nice enough, but please avoid it.

Right in the heart of Sapa town, the hotel is close to lots of lovely restaurants and cafes. The lake and Sun Plaza are just a short walk away, and Sun Plaza is where you can take the cable car to Fansipan. Moana Sapa, a great spot for Instagramable photos, is a short ride away by car or big tuk tuks. We paid $300000vnd for a return trip, including an hour of waiting.
