Sapa Relax Hotel & Spa

Ruby helped us with great suggestions for places to see and updated weather reports for Fancipan and other nearby sights. She also arranged transport and tickets when needed, including for our trip back to Hanoi. The hotel is tucked into a quiet alley just off the main Sapa road. Our large room had a fantastic view, a comfortable bed, and a lounge area. Ruby and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly. I'll definitely stay here again.

We had to change rooms during our three-night stay, and both rooms could use a refresh. Everything worked, but in awkward ways. In the first, the shower was in a jacuzzi tub and the short curtain didn't keep water from splashing everywhere. The second had only two outlets, with one right in the middle of our king bed, which was two twins pushed together. Staff had to switch the HVAC between heating and cooling modes. The beds themselves were comfortable. The hotel is centrally located, and the staff were all really nice. Breakfast was second best, with a wide selection and hot items that changed. The rooftop lounge had amazing views, Wi-Fi was stable, and two free bottles of water were included, though they weren't refrigerated.

I stayed at three hotels around Sapa, and this one was my favorite. The room was a decent size with a good view, and it was pleasantly warm in December. They even included breakfast during the low season, which was a lovely surprise. Great valley views from the rooftop and everything within walking distance. I'd stay again.

The staff were always smiling, friendly, and accommodating. On arrival, we got complimentary drinks and breakfast coupons for our whole stay. The location is handy for major establishments and only a few walks from Sapa Station. We had a deluxe family room connecting two neighboring rooms, with the amenities we needed: a bathtub, fridge, hair dryer, kettle, robes, and toiletries. At checkout, the receptionist gave us a tote bag handcrafted by local people. I'll always think of my Vietnam trip when I see it. I'll definitely come back to beautiful Sapa and Vietnam, and this hotel is worth returning to.
