Sapa Village Hotel

The staff were so helpful when my daughter sprained her ankle. We asked for ice every day for cold compresses, and they brought it with a smile. The hotel has a great view, and when we didn’t feel like going out for dinner, ordering food there was a good option. It tasted excellent. Breakfast was a daily buffet with lots of flavorful choices, and they kept it well stocked even near the end of service. The room had been newly renovated and was comfortable, with good cleanliness, strong shower pressure, and reliable heating. The location is a little farther from Sun Plaza, though handy for the local market. The TV didn’t work, but that didn’t bother us much, and the Wi-Fi lagged sometimes, which is understandable in Sapa. We’d stay here again.

The breakfast was wonderful, with local dishes like sticky rice, Pho noodles, and spring rolls, plus plenty of fresh salads and herbs. Thuy, the manager, was lovely and accommodating, and always greeted us in the dining area in the morning. We stayed on the 7th floor, and the elevator was cute. The aircon could both cool and heat, which we appreciated when the temperature dropped much more quickly than expected. It was 21°C when we arrived in the afternoon, 15°C in the evening, and 8°C the next morning, although the forecast had called for around 18-22°C. We spent three nights here and enjoyed the cozy place and beautiful view. I loved watching the mist cover the mountains and Sapa town in just a few minutes. It’s easy to get a Grab from here. I’d recommend it for families and would definitely come back.

The hotel layout is nice, and most rooms have a view. It’s clean and good value, with a tasty, varied breakfast buffet. I especially liked the yogurt, fresh fruit, and green mint. The funicular is free and handy if you don’t want to take the stairs. The center is within walking distance, and the beautiful lake is very close. Big thanks to Ms grace fo and the rest of the amazing staff.

We spent five days here and didn’t run into a single problem. The rooms were clean and had the basic amenities we needed, and the hotel, staff, and service were all very good. The location is excellent, with attractions nearby. Everyone was polite and smiling. Some staff didn’t understand English, but they still tried every way they could to help, including using a translator or gestures. A fabulous place for a vacation, and I’d recommend it.
