Stone Paradise Homestay

The views from the bedroom window were amazing, and the house itself was beautiful with spacious rooms. We came with our 6-year-old and 8-year-old and found it surprisingly kid-friendly. Hieu provided trekking maps and drove us to the starting point, so there was no need to hire a guide or book tours. We could go at our own pace and adjust the distance as we went. We loved the family dinners, which were the best food we've had so far in Vietnam, and our kids enjoyed playing with little Cham every day. We stayed two nights and wished we'd had longer. Thanks Hieu, Tuyen and family for being so warm and kind!

The weather didn't cooperate, so we mostly saw fog and rain instead of the mountain scenery through the large windows facing three directions. Even so, the atmosphere made the experience worthwhile. It's run by a lovely family, and we got to spend time with them and share dinner. Our room was very spacious. Breakfasts were really good, and the hosts helped us arrange what we needed, including transport, scooter rental, and plenty of tips about the area.

The owner and his wife were lovely and helpful, offering advice on what to see and helping us book activities. The room was clean and good, and the bed was comfortable. The location is a bit far from the city, so walking can be a lot. Renting a scooter or taking a Grab is a better option.

We had a great stay. The owner was really helpful and gave us lots of tips and recommendations. We also joined the carving classes and highly recommend them.
