Getting to this peaceful cafe takes a short, pleasant walk from the car drop-off, past picturesque rice fields. That little stroll adds to the hidden-gem feel. Beside the gently flowing river, the sound of the water and the charming surroundings make for a serene, relaxing atmosphere.

The views were stunning and the place felt so peaceful. I stopped in during a hike for a drink and a really good conversation, and I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

You’re right among the mountains and streams here, with a gorgeous valley view. The rooms were clean, though two bungalows share an outdoor bathroom. There’s no Wi-Fi, but mobile data worked fine, and mosquitoes are hard to avoid in the mountains. Dinner was good, but you need to arrange it with the host ahead of time. The setting more than made up for the drawbacks for me. I’d gladly return and recommend it.

It’s a good fit if you can afford it and want a break from the modern city. The service was pretty good, though the prices are on the high side, so plan your budget. From the main road it’s about a kilometer to the hotel, and that path is only for walking or motorbikes. The views along the way are amazing.

There are two ways to stay, camping or a bungalow with either a spring or mountain view. The owner is around all the time and takes care of everything. Food is simple but good enough. It’s a nice escape with family or friends, and you can bathe in the spring in summer if you take it slowly and carefully. Expect a 15-minute downhill walk from the parking area, and bring something for the mosquitoes.
