The staff were so friendly, and they let us borrow their bikes for free. Our room was spacious, and the pool was spotless with lovely soft-feeling water. My sensitive skin did break out in a rash, though that wasn't the hotel's fault. There were a few ants around, which seems pretty common in lots of places. The location felt quiet, especially outside the season from Sept.-Apr., when the city is almost a ghost town and there's not much to do. There's a waterpark about 9 minutes away, and it was fun, but some slides were closed off-season. Recommended.

The owner was kind enough to drive us to a pho restaurant so we didn't have to walk or ride in the rain. We'd arrived soaked on our bicycles, and he let us leave the muddy bikes in the lobby. Our room looked new and was really clean. It seemed like we were the only guests, probably because it was out of season.

The rooftop pool was great. The hotel was nearly empty while we were there, and the receptionist, who didn't speak English, handled everything really well with Google Translate. It's a little far from the central beach. The surrounding hotels are mostly still being built, so there's some daytime noise, but it wasn't too bad. The area is enclosed, with two or three gates and guards at night. Golf carts go along the beach road. Make sure to haggle, or you could end up paying at least five times the usual fare.
