Le Vent Homestay Tam Dao

We couldn't get much help from reception. The staff rarely appeared at the desk and didn't speak English. The breakfast area was dirty and unappetizing, so we didn't feel comfortable eating there, and there was trash in the lobby and around the grounds. The whole hotel was neglected and looked nothing like the online photos. Our two-night booking turned into just one night because the place was in terrible condition: the bathroom was dirty, with ants and dead bugs, there was mold and fungus in every room, furniture was stained, and large insects were flying around inside. A very uncomfortable disappointment. We wouldn't recommend it.

We stayed only one night. The next morning the owner gave us a discount and a free ride to another hotel, which was kind of them. The apartment itself was dirty and full of live and dead bugs. The sheets and curtains were stained, towels and toilet paper were missing, and water leaked through the ceiling. It seemed like nobody had cleaned or maintained the place. The kitchen had no cookware, cups, or anything useful. The garden and breakfast area were just as neglected, not somewhere you'd want to spend the morning looking at the clouds.

Breakfast is included in the room rate, and this time the homestay served dinner and lunch the next day for our group of 25. The staff were helpful and happy to assist whenever needed. We came back to Le Vent Tam Dao for a second stay after four years, and it was still very well maintained.

We had a wonderful time at Le Vent Homestay. The rooms were perfect, with incredible mountain views, and there was plenty of space to work. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, and the coffee was yum. The staff were incredible and went above and beyond; we really noticed their generosity. The friendly dogs were an extra treat and greeted us every day. We’ll recommend LeVent Homestay to all our friends. Thank you ☺️
