The service was wonderful, and the hotel food was tasty and reasonably priced. There's a cafe right next door too. My room was clean and nice, but the bedding wasn't for me. Whatever the sheets and blanket were made of felt hot and itchy, and I'd much rather sleep on cotton.
After cycling in the Delta heat all day, we ordered room service: two huge bowls of delicious soup and beers in a little cooler of ice. That was the five star part. The guesthouse itself is basic but comfortable, with a bed, TV, small table and chairs, and AC, enough for a good night's sleep at 200,000d. There's also a lovely coffeeshop next door with fantastic drinks and snacks. I'd definitely recommend it for a night while traveling through.
The people running this hotel are what make it special. It feels like a place where you can be at home. The location is great, and the rooms are clean and have everything you need.
I've stayed here on three separate occasions since 2018. The accommodation is simple and fairly priced, and the owner-operator is extremely nice.
It's cheap and clean. The facilities aren't very good, but they're acceptable.
