Arina Luxury Hotel - Vincom Tay Ninh

The area was nice, and the staff were friendly. Just be aware that my room had no window, and light came through the translucent door. It was also pretty noisy inside. I could hear neighboring guests showering and doors shutting. Still, it was fine for a one-night stay.

The staff were friendly, and the location was good, but the place didn't match what I booked. Online on Booking.com it was listed as "Arina Luxury Hotel." When we got there, the hotel wasn't finished, and they put us in a small "Homestay" room. It didn't look like a hotel at all, though the room itself was okay. The bathrooms were awful, so we changed rooms once because of that. Noise from other guests carried late at night and early in the morning, with no soundproofing.

We ended up with a room that had a leaking toilet, a strange sewage smell, a loose faucet that nearly came off, no hot water, dirty sheets, and mosquitoes. The air conditioner blew straight at the bed, and drilling and construction started loudly at 6:30 in the morning. We'd paid for a deluxe room with a balcony, but were first given a dark room without windows. The receptionist said getting the balcony room we'd paid for meant no elevator and an older room, and seemed to be pushing us to pay more if we wanted an elevator. We were exhausted when we arrived, so didn't argue further and climbed three flights of stairs. Then the receptionist called to ask how the room was, which felt like they knew it was bad and were mocking us. One of the worst experiences.

Breakfast was included, and the cheapest room was 450k. The rooms were clean, which I think matters a lot.
